Based on the know-how cultivated through the development of recovery shoes, rig footwear's first active line of hiking shoes, “Tembea,” was completed after four years of conception and repeated sample production to create a hiking shoe with both cushioning and stability.

The heel portion of the shoe absorbs the shock of landing directly to the body, while the sole on the toe side, which kicks forward to move forward, ensures stability. eVent fabric is used for complete waterproofing, and the sole uses Vibram's Mega Grip, which is lightweight but grips the ground securely even on mountain trails. The sole is made of Vibram's Mega Grip. (*Not recommended for use in snowy mountaineering.)
